With the engine noises

Still lingering

Miles and miles

Away the people go

Wherever they go

To work

Or back home

The train still keeps up

For who knows how long

It stops

Whenever it stops

Still the people on it

They ride

From point A

To point B

Now blackout

We stopped going

Doors not opening

Stuck inside

Like limbo

Just wait

Or break a window

To step outside

And wait for the next one

Away we go

Wherever we go

To work

Or back home

Like we always do
